No One Is Looking

What would you do if no one was looking?

Would you write? Would you paint? Would you dance?

There is surely something you would do with more freedom, more grace. We evolved as social beings, reliant on one another to survive. It wasn’t encouraged to stand out or stray from the norm. We’ve carried this belief with us into the modern era. An era in which we are less reliant on fitting in with those around us.

We still depend on each other, but our societies have expanded exponentially. We are freer than we’ve ever been to express our individuality however we choose.

The only thing holding us back is old beliefs. Stories from a different time.

So please, remember to dance, to paint, to write, to do whatever it is you would do if no one was looking.

Because only those who care are paying attention.
