Do the thing, adjust your approach, and do it better the next time.
There are no shortcuts.
If you are searching for the simplest strategy to succeed, this is it. The only path to mastery is through intentional practice. Grinding through the tedium of the thing until you reach a point of intrinsic satisfaction from problem-solving.
You keep working and adapting and iterating long after most people quit. If you’re lucky, you will find a mentor or a few like-minded people to help accelerate the process. Finding these people is a skill in itself. A valuable skill to start sucking at.
So, don’t be shy, don’t be timid.
Get out into the world, start talking to people, be interested, and say yes to opportunities and experiences you weren’t expecting.
You grow the most when you reach beyond your comfort zone.
It’s better to be uncomfortable and alive than comfortable and letting life pass you by.
Don’t forget this.
